Active and effective citizens have an ability to work in dynamic environments and create thriving community initiatives. Dynamic facilitation skills are an essential quality of social change agents – Knowing how to work effectively with community groups and project teams often makes the difference between successful projects and those that end in frustration. This workshop is an interactive, hands on introduction to grass roots facilitation, group dynamics and community development. Learning a range of tools and techniques from experts in the field, participants will practice group and community based initiatives and receive practical coaching on facilitation and community leadership. This workshop is ideal for people already involved in community development and for everyone wanting to become more active in their community.
