Event Description

GAIA UNIVERSITY IS COMING TO CHILE IN APRIL 2009
To view this in Español please click here.
In April 2009 Ecoescuela El Manzano will host Gaia University International (GU) for a series of ground breaking events here in Chile;
• From 16 of April 2009; Gaia University Orientation: for new students starting courses of Bachelor, Master y Post Master Diploma in Eco-Social Regeneration.
• From 1 of May 2009; a four day advanced workshop Participatory Processes for Communities in Transition.
We want you to be part of this experience, to be part of designing and creating an innovative learning community in Chile and the world.
Both events will be facilitated by Liora Adler y Andy Langford, leaders with much experience from the Permaculture and Ecovillage networks.
All details about Gaia University programmes for 2009, costs, scholarships and admissions can be found at www.gaiauniversity.org.

AN INVITATION TO JOIN US IN CHILE
We are seeking to gather a pioneer group of talented and competent leaders with relevant experience to form the core organising group for a new education and teaching paradigm, applying the Gaia University model as a foundation for an indigenous system in Chile, Latin America and Oceania.
CREATING A GLOBAL LEARNING COMMUNITY
At this point in time the GU orientation can only be taken in the northern hemisphere, and is exclusively available in English. Our driving objective is to make these qualifications available to Spanish speakers, and to support the development of GU regional centres in Latin America and Oceania.
IMPLEMENTING SUSTAINABILITY ON THE GROUND
We see vast unrealised potential in Chile, Latin America and in Oceania to rapidly advance the practical vision of resilient and sustainable communities taking responsibility, and determining their own destiny—by design.
Now is the time to act. We invite you to join this compelling initiative.
GAIA UNIVERSITY – DEGREES OF FREEDOM
Gaia University offers a unique approach to higher learning.
Our self-directed Action Learning methodology enables you to study locally, at work or on projects, in your own language, supported by Gaia University.
TAKE A DEEP DIVE
Now is the time to take a deep dive, headlong into new emerging paradigms. We invite you to join this compelling initiative.
Visit the Gaia University website for further information or to fill an application form on the Admissions and Applications page. Create an Account and get started here. Download a Brochure A Year in Gaia U, or Contact GU Today.
