Come be stimulated by a potential new vision of the Self
International experts and leaders will be gathering for New Zealand's largest conference on Science Consciousness and Spirituality.
In this conference a leading Scientist, a Psychopharmacologist and a GP will explore the idea of Consciousness as the Ground of our Being and whether the possibility of consciousness continuing after physical death is a rational one.
We will be looking at our new understanding of quantum physics and the benefits of accessing non ordinary states of consciousness.
It will give a greater vision of our individual relationship to all else, and offers useful tools for daily living that encourage greater conscious awareness of who we are and where we live.
Key note speakers include:
- Dr Amit Goswami - He is a pioneer of the new paradigm of science called "science withinTconsciousness".
- Dr Ede Frecska - Chief of psychiatry at the National Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Budapest, Hungary.
- Dr Manjir Samanta Laughton - MBBS Dip Bio-energy (MD in USA) is an international speaker and author of several books. She trained as a medical doctor and GP in London. In 2006 her first book, Punk Science was published, and it has received worldwide acclaim
As part of the conference programme, on Sunday you will also be able to attend 1 of 6 experiential (2hour) workshops
The conference will be held on the evening of Friday October 28 at the Hopetoun Alpha in Auckland City, and all day October 29 and 30 2011, at the Auckland University of Technology, Akoranga Campus, Auckland. Morning/afternoon teas and lunch is provided for the weekend intensive.
