Event Description

Barbara Yoffee, Environmental Education Specialist with the Rachel Carson Council is to give a presentation on the life and legacy of Rachel Carson of 'Silent Spring' fame.

The presentation is a slide program about 45 minutes and covers Carson's involvement in the environmental movement followed by an informal discussion about her contribution and her ideals.
