What does it mean to Add a Friend? Think of your friends as your inner circle. Adding a friend is essentially adding an additional person to the smaller group of people you stay in touch with all the time. Tagging someone as a friend gives you some real benefits:

  • Your list of friends appears on your Profile and in MY FRIENDS (upper right corner of every page).
  • Click on My Friends and you can send a private email to all of them at once. When they receive your message they can Reply All or just to you.
  • Each friend's photo on your Profile and My Friends is also a "menu" -- click on their nose and you and you can send that individual a public comment or a private email -- your choice -- without even having to chase down their email addresses.
  • In your INBOX, when COMPOSING an email, you can Choose from Friends -- your select group -- to send private messages. One at a time, or as many of them as you tick. Again, you don't even have to know their email addresses.
  • To add or remove a Friend, go to their profile and click on "Add" or "Remove" right below their photo.
  • A
  • You can see other members friends by going to their Profile and seeing their inner circle.

Please note. The Friends directory makes more sense in groups with memberships of thousands or hundreds of thousands, or millions. It's essentially a way of grouping and providing easy access to those you want to stay in touch with on a regular basis.
