There is an interesting essay on the roles one can play when one finds out about peak oil. We are going to need so many leaders. But one could play the victim role or the Drama Queen role. It is posted on theoildrum.com. Can't help but see myself in some of these roles. I take turns.

Hi Deirdre - I read this recently too, and realised I had been slipping into Drama Queen mode rather a lot lately! :o) It was quite useful to pull myself up on that!
