Foodstuffs to charge for plastic bags - pressure progressive to follow suit

Foodstuffs have announced a 5c charge on plastic bags - Pak n Save, New world and Four Square. Now is the time to call for progressive to follow suit - email customerinfo@progressive.co.nz and spread the word.

Recent studies in australia have demonstrated that a charge of 10c per bag will reduce usage by 80% and while this is a less than ideal outcome it is a very tangible way that we can stop hundreds of millions of plastic bags being used a year.
