Hi Deirdre
I'm new to the group and i've just been reading through the discussion on what to do about this site after NING went total user pays.
Obviously someone if not yourself has paid to keep this live to this point. However i am a little confused because there was a lot of different option thrown up in that thread, however i'll not clear if any decisions were made.
What i mean is there a new social media platform that transition towns is focussing on? I.E is it best now to use http://www.transitiontowns.org.nz/ as many suggested or was a buddypress created as was favoured by many.
Your message seeking increased activity here suggests this is still the main portal. It wold be great if i could get some clarity around this so i can catch up with the situation and begin contributing and assisting in the right place!!
Cheers, Dale
Hi Dale
No this is just the social networking site and yes we did decide to pay for another year. This ends in July.
We will soon have to make a decision as to what we do next JUly.
