New Zealand Transition Initiatives Social Network

From oil dependence to local resilience

Hi all growers, budding or seeding!
There is a new network growing in Wellington, to facilitate connections between new and skilled urban growers. No website, no mailing lists, but real-life, hands-in-the-soil goodness and community sharing!
If you feel like learning, or like you've got some knowledge to share, or that you could do with more hands in your garden or that you'd like to garden someone else's land – this is IT for you. Get in touch with Dawud, streetgardens@gmail.com or with me (Linnea), daytime phone 04 976 19 05 or email lilindstroem (at) gmail.com

We have a community garden in Ohiro Bay , Wellington and would like to arrange for a workshop on Composting, would you have anyone knowledgeable in this area who could facilitate such a meeting?

It would be great also if there are others in the region who would like to become involved in this garden, as it is currently a small group and we are all learning.
