Being away from Otaki coming on 6 months and monitoring Otakis transition towns progress has been phenomenal!!! you should all pat yourselves on the back for adding a vibrant purposeful pulse to Otaki.

Hi, I just spent the day at the Otaki Marae listening to some great lectures from Caleb Royal and Pataka Moore. I got talking to one of their komatua (his name slips me now..) who is very passionate about community building and local self sufficiency. He was very interested to hear that there was so much common ground with TT. So its good to see that there has been some TT activity in Otaki already - perhaps a TT presentation at the marae would be useful? Shall I find out the name of the komatua as a contact point?
