Transition Tairawhiti

15+ people have been meeting since August 2009 and discussing ideas to see communities in the Gisborne/Tairawhiti region join the 'Transition Towns' movement.

Our next meeting is: 12pm-1pm, Tuesday 13th October at Tairawhiti Earth Centre, Treble Court, Gisborne.

We plan to have a presence at the A&P Show in October and start education and awareness-raising activities from November onwards.

A number of initiatives and groups are looking at connecting with the Transition Tairawhiti network.
