Profile Information

In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
I wish to strongly support efforts to place sustainable planning principles and practices at the heart of settlement design and Council/Community decision-making as we confront issues of energy descent , environmental degradation, peak oil and climate change and learn to live together more simply and less wastefully.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I am a social worker and bio-dynamic gardener working with a team of counsellors and social workers supporting families in Nelson and districts, and in my spare time developing with my wife a small property in the Moutere Hills between Motueka and Richmond along permaculture and biodynamic lines.
Where do you live (City or Town):
WE live near Motueka in Tasman

Hi Alistair, It's great to see you here! Let me know if I can help you with your photo... cropping, sizing, adjusting contrast, fitting it to the site, etc. Then when I've returned it to you, you can post it to the site at Profile Photo. Photos become very important as our group grows.
