Considering NZ imports the majority of its staple grains, such as wheat , rice etc, I am interested in looking into the viability of using the CSA model to help increase the production of these and other carbohydrate crops with the domestic market.See More

I found out about Transition Towns...: Other

In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:: Community Supported Agriculture, draught horse-powered farms, sustainable communities, and the sharing of knowledge towards these ends.

What are you happy to share about yourself:: I have completed two apprenticeships in Canada on a horse-powered organic vegetable CSA. I seek to start up a CSA in NZ in the near future and I have a strong interest in helping to establish more horse-powered farms in NZ. When I return to NZ I wish to meet up with as many people as possible who share similar goals and dreams.
