Hi Anna; how are you going in Waitakare? Sorry for not responding sooner to your hello way back in January...I was having trouble with ning site and it wouldn't let me in! I found out about Transition Towns...
Other
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Community involvement where and when the local (or national?) politicians can't be bothered to take the needed action. That real Grass Roots Enthusiasm which is inspiring to others. I live by the motto: "if there is a will, there is a way"I
However, in no way do I not want this ever to become any politically based group, it should remain open to people from all walks of life.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I love the nature, wildlife and animals!
I am sincerly concerned about biological diversity and the active preservation of New Zealand's natural beauty, in relation to curbing any further ill-convieved haphazard urban planning (if one can talk about true plans?).

As I am very dedicated to the wise management of our natural resources, my work and free-time have been predominantly involved with facilitating public awareness of developing sustainable natural resource management. I believe this can be achieved while still ensuring a continued growth for the local economy, no matter in which country one lives.
Where do you live (City or Town):
I found a GREEN area outside of Auckland city and work as a senior resource planner
