I found out about Transition Towns...
Other
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
accessible affordable organic food - community gardens and food cooperatives

sustainable transport systems - cycling infrastructure, car-pooling, walking school buses, bike maintennace workshops etc etc

sustainability initiatives for renters - info sharing, workshops, rebate schemes for landlords

community building through all of the above....
What are you happy to share about yourself:
32 yo, passionate about sustainable living and sustainable, strong communities. Have recently been living in Hobart, Tasmania where I was involved in some awesome communinity initiatives around community gardens, food co-ops, home energy efficiency and walking / cycling.

Very keen to get networked in my local area and get involved in similar stuff here!

I was involved with several CSAs over 10 years in the States, and I really think it would be taking it to the next level here in NZ if folks could get into that.
