"Hi Deirdre: I put my photo up. When I first signed on, I saw no option for me to load a photo - perhaps while my application was being considered?  Anyway, it is there now. Thanks for your kind words on my blog!  "

Profile Information

I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Learning more about it, sharing the concept and connections with people as I travel and volunteer, celebrating it.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I have been a full time volunteer since Dec 2006, and an organic gardener (when I have had a garden!) since 1968. I no longer own a car, and get around now by bicycle, public transport, or walking (and sometimes skipping for joy). I have no home, but a dear friend in New Zealand who gets my mail for me, and a sister who does the same for me in the USA, where I am also a citizen.
Where do you live (City or Town):
Auckland

Do you belong to a Transition initiative in New Zealand?
