Profile Information

I found out about Transition Towns...
When I was browsing the net
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Sustainable building, time banking, complementary currencies, and de-centralization of power (or should that be re-localization?) :) also keen to learn more about Permaculture following the fantastic hui in Raglan.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I love to travel, to meet new people, and I love languages. I'm an ESOL teacher, I spent two years living in Japan (I taught English in a public high school), and I'm now studying Māori full-time at Waikato University. I'm planning to do a PhD in Anthropology next year through the University of Otago - looking at time banking in New Zealand.
Where do you live (City or Town):
Hamilton
