I found out about Transition Towns...
When I was browsing the net
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Building food forests, Local resilience, building a transition community/
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I and my husband are in the process of buying a small property with a couple of acres of land suitable to build a food forest.
I will be building a food forest while my husband still has a job.

Our hope is that as we reach that stage of our lives that we would have had a pension in the old world we have a sustainable stable food forest.

Hi Evelien I have just joined this transition towns site and i'm interested in networking with Whaingaroa/Raglan members and finding out what is happening here re establishing a community currency and informal organic food co-operatives.
Are therev any local meetings happening on a regular basis?
