Profile Information

In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
I want to convert my local area in Royal Oak and I want to make a lot of noise about it.TT gives the power to the people and thats were it should be.

I work in media and social marketing so I know how to get attention. I would also like to follow the progress in our magazine Good.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I work in media and I feel that our current problems are design issues that can be solved once we overpower those who currently have it.

Best work I Stop ( Irish Socities Teenagers of Peace) movement in Ireland and Health Freedom campaign that helped block the TGA in New Zeland.

I think TT will be a hugh movement and I would love to get involved
Where do you live (City or Town):

Hi its a place called New Grange in the Boyne Valley. According to legend it is a rebirthing chamber for the fae - its also aligned to winter solstice and is one of the most impressive megalithic buildings on the Irish lay-line.

The Boyne valley complex is (once again according to the Legend) the home to the Tuatha Da Dannan Gods . Dagda was the main God but his son Ogham was the God of language, communication and tress. It is from him that we have the Ogham alphabet and the birth of Druidism.

Great legends I can recommend a few books if you like.

Cheers I’m delighted you like the magazine - the next one is looking great.

Hi Gavin,

just wanted to give you the feedback that heaps of people I know have been raving about how good good is!! It reminds me of a newpaper that myself and my husband Dan used to distribute in Ireland and England called "the Positive News", it was a similar vibe. I remember us distributing hundreds of them at Glastonbury festival one year, it was a free paper, brimming with hope, alternatives and possibilities.

What a great contribution, keep shining that light.

Genevieve

Hi Gavin,
mostly strategy - government. Am a bit of a bigger picture person - not much good with fiddly details or numbers ;-) What's your magazine about? And what is social marketing?
Cheers, Natalie
