In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:: Being able to share knowledge with like minded people to create a sustainable back to basics lifesyle for myself and my children and grandchildren. My passions lie in Herbal medicine, all forms of natural healing. Permaculture and organic gardening.

Hey thats great you are looking well ahead. Youa re so right that the only way to have a chance at a decent future and way fo life we must pull together now before its too late. By the way things are going and what i have heard from people that work in big bizz is that we have untill 2010 to get set up sustainably at a reasonable cost.
After that those that are not prepared will be locked in as slaves. So becoming mortgage free and energy independant (including food of course) will be of most importance.
Some friends and i are getting the renewable energy technology available for many to build themselves if they have those skills...
