CSA/ teikei

I have just come home from working in my Field, its too hot, so hot we even have Indian miners here in Chch for the first time.I am a biodynamic market gardener, I think the best way to manage the land i work on is to grow a diverse range of crops. This is in part a biodynamic principal of centering The rhythms of the season the location you are in and the growers into your every day life. Profile Information

I found out about Transition Towns...
Via an article in an overseas publication, Other
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Kakano- seeding community supported agriculture

I am interested in action based research that provides usable solutions to our reliance on carbon rich foods. ie those reliant on petroleum in its varying embedded forms. In simple words i like gardening.
I am very aware that there is an eminent food crisis, one where our society will face the challenge of providing nutritious food for ourselves, as a community.
I am interested in what kind of CSA project could work in Christchurch and how that can be a sustainable low carbon based system.
I have this deep warmth well up in side me when I read of intentional communities baseed on permacultural principles. whether they have a location or a purely intentional gives me inspiration.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I am a mother of three and I am trying to find a way to make sustainablwould like to see suport for this through local council alas ECAN is no longer community based.
I am testing my limits growing bio-dynamicly on one hectare.
I am experimenting with gray water recycling for irrigation .
and have lived off the grid from time to time when creativity and inspiration have have allowed.- so i am interested in practical no8 wire solutions, the van runs on bio diesel in the summer.
Where do you live (City or Town):
Christchurch
