I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Shifting hearts and minds, growing ourselves together through the global and local transitions of the next decades. Generating dialogue, learning communities and commitment to thinking, being and living in a world of "enough".
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I am passionate about working intergenerationally, with dialogues across boundaries, gatherings of men, the sacred land and waters of New Zealand. I am the NZ contact and facilitator trainer for the Pachamana Alliance "symposium", see Awakening the Dreamer weblink. My work is in the stewardship of learning communities and networks.
Where do you live (City or Town):
I straddle Cook Strait - and live between Mapua/Richmond and Kilbirnie/Lyall Bay, Wellington

Glen,
I have just sent out preliminary information to Phil, Rebeka and Stephanie, and will shortly be producing a flyer which can be generally distributed. I do not have your email address anymore, and so let me know (mine is: pesamorrison@hotmail.com) or Phil, Rebeka or Stephanei can forward the information to you. During the retreat we will also be video and audio recording for a participatory drama we are making for a 90 minute session to be presented at an international conference in Melbourne.
Something you may also be interested in is coaching work the research institute here is developing. If you send me your email address I will invite you to participate in it.

Stephanie and Anneleise from Pachamama facilitators training are coming. We held one in Jan with five facilitators along - great! Mik went along last Easter.

Hi Glen, I´d be stoked to hear your thoughts on the role of tertiary education in coming decades as we move into the post industrial paradigms, and a possible gaia university campus in nz. Gracias, Grifen

Likewise! So good to see you smiling face!
I spent the afternoon at the Common Ground community garden at Taputuranga/Sisters of Mercy. What a great place and down to earth people. And we're all connecting!

Have you seen the great Paul Hawken video:
