An advice for deterring birds? As you warned, sparrows harvested 100% of our wheat and most of our buckwheat. Pukekos got about 75% of our corn. The amaranth is coming along nicely, we'll see if the birds get that as well.

Considering NZ imports the majority of its staple grains, such as wheat , rice etc, I am interested in looking into the viability of using the CSA model to help increase the production of these and other carbohydrate crops with the domestic market.

Hi, Jeff,
even better than Jester is over the Hill at Golden Bay, the Mussel Inn. I must go! Have a Golden Goose for me if you do - good local brew.

Wow Fantastic stuff!
I must come check it out on my travels this summer as I'm interested in finding a community way of living!
My travels took me to riverside for a summer as a learning experience for community living as this is a way of living which I believe is quintessential to humanity. Yet It did not sit right with my ideal concept of community living.

Motueka is a beautiful rich area Atamai I feel if steered under the right philosophy should be bountiful and prosperous.
Mad ups for for leading the way Jeff and peers!

Blessings!!!
