I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
I am an ecological engineer consultant/researcher and also spiritual director facilitating wilderness retreats. I belive that both of these fields are components to enable the transition we are seeking. As director of the Sustainable Community Development Research Institute, I believe that this transition is a necessary part of the process of SCD.

Malo e Lelei Keith,
Im not sure if you still remember me my name is Soane Patolo I use to be your students (1999-2002) at Lincoln University. After school I came back home to Tonga and start working with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) from 2002 until early 2007. I change job to do community development work, I am currently working a coordinator of MORDI (Mainstreaming of Rural Development Innovation Programme) funded by IFAD. It is a Regional Program and its works in Fiji, Kiribati and Tonga. Since I join MORDI I have been trying to contact Lincoln to see where you are? Reason being is to share my experience with MORDI and also to see if I could learn from you also. Im not sure if this is the right place to posted such message, but I hope to hear from you soon.

G'day Kieth
It was very good to spend time together last year with the Pachamama Symposium Training at Labour weekend. I'd love to catch up in ChCh or Selwyn sometime this year - or in Welly if you are ever traveling. I've been thinking of you.
Warm regards
Glen
