hi kerrin, welcome to the gaia university group! I would love to hear your thoughts about the development of a GU campus in new zealand as an organising framework for creating learning communities in new zealand. gracias, grifen

Profile Information

I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Helping people grow food. Bartering. Forming real community where we help each other in practical ways. Action, not just talk!
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I live on 7 acres at Ruatangata, near Whangarei. I'm keen to grow lots of food, in a permaculture way. I homeschool my children and believe that it's up to me, not the state, to raise them. I'm a flax weaver and a bread baker and I'm keen to share these skills and trade what I produce.
Where do you live (City or Town):
Whangarei

Hi Kerrin, Johanna has sent me the link to this page twice so I figured I should join up :) My third ning group - time to stop I think - or I won't have any time to grow food, do craft etc.

Hi Kerrin,

good to see you on this site, it's a good way for us all to keep up with Transition Town developments. I'm about to put up the heart and soul minutes from Thursday night. I hope you enjoyed the evening, it's great to have lots of new and enthusiastic energy joining in and it's only the beginning.

All the best, Genevieve

Hi Kerrin, great to see you here. Guess you were at the meeting on Thurs. I have been to all of them so far and were just getting a little tired of too much talk and not enough avtion. sounds like it's getting going now though with the food growing group. See you there.
