I am moving to aus/ canberra in a months time to begin my masters study- do you know of the link to transition towns aus?
Can I transfer my details across or should I just close my nz tt page down?
Lisa
I did know about the Whangarei group, but I hadn't got around to joining, so thanks for the reminder and I have joined now.

Elizabeth
Cheers
I am so illiterate on the computer it's ridiculous - how do I add myself to the Whangarei site - I would love to advertise the Sunday markets there!

Nickie
Manchurian Rice Grass sound interesting. I'm not that familiar with it, though I believe it is similar to Raupo. The big question is does it have a similar thick, starchy base like Raupo...if so it could be a goer for local ethanol production.
Cheers for the comment!
Richard
When you click on the aeriel photo for Whangarei group, you can then click on "request to join" in top right hand corner beside a green sign. You're right about not being in the group just yet.
Good luck, Genevieve
