Profile Information

I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
I want to network and connect with others like minded. We are shifting towards a new culture, a new way of living and relating with the planet and my life is for being the change.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I was born in Canada and have lived in NZ for the last 20 years so this feels more like my home. I am a management coach and also lead spiritual practice courses. Our household moto is 'zero waste to landfill' which we haven't reached yet, but it's created an inspiring journey. I now make a number of our household products (cleaning products, skin care products) to reduce the amount of 'stuff' we buy, packaging that creates, and reduces the amount of chemicals that come into the house.
Where do you live (City or Town):
Wellington

Yes he runs the Drupal site not this one. However he would find it very easy to run one of these especially for you all, or set up as a group here. Good luck. People with few skills can learn quickly on a ning. A few pitfalls though but plenty of online support.

Hi Leanne, I notice the Christchurch Intentional Community has a group on this website and wonder if you want to use a group for yours too? Search on "CEN" in the search box top right.

Hi Leanne, real nice meeting you this weekend at the "reconnect" workshop. Would love to be kept in the loop as to how the intentional community journey continues for you and Rob. It sounds like a fascinating project! Best wishes, Natalie

Dear Leanne. I have received your email concerning your proposal to set up an "intentional community". At this stage I would not be able to become a member. Is it possible to allow for the involvement of people who are sympathetic who could assist on a case by case basis. As you will see from my profile I have an old interest with this subject, though perhaps not very relevant to 2008. Please get in touch. Best regards, Gerald.
