Hi Llywelyn, do you know that we have a website just for the Whangarei District? There you can list upcoming events, check what is happening in Whangarei or join the various groups for online discussions, group meetings or working bees. In case you want to join us there, please go to:
http://whangareitt.ning.com/
Hope to see you over there as well! :)

You might be able to interest the Whangarei library in acquiring more books on renewable energy for our group. I have already given them some recommendations, but the more the merrier. To make your request, you can just log onto their website which is www.whangarei-libraries.com and go to members' recommendations, fill in the details and they do the rest. You also get the first look at the book when it arrives. If you don't have membership, just let me know and I'll do the rest. Cheers Janet
