In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
As a climate scientist, I feel that we have to make the move to a carbon-neutral future and action at the community level is critical.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I moved to Whakapara in May 2007 after three decades as a climate specialist at the University of East Anglia, a world centre in global warming research, in the United Kingdom. With my partner, Sarah Granich, I manage a website on climate change, the Tiempo Climate Cyberlibrary.
Mick, in order to help us all spend less time online, it is easier if you join the online Whangarei group which you do by clicking on groups, then Whangarei, then join. That way we get to talk to everyone in the area effieciently. Cheers, see you Friday at Penny's talk?
