So it looks like Ning is officially going to shut out free users. I'm bummed since I spent the last six months evangelising Ning to local neighbourhood groups. I thought Ning had some grassroots cred - I guess I was wrong. I'm going to be looking for a new social network host. What will everyone else here do? What other community-friendly SN options exist with event calendars?See More

The Christchurch Transition Forum is for everyone in the Canterbury area who is interested in Transition Towns and/or is member of a local initiative. We meet about every two months for a forum where we can network and exchange information in person.
