How to make store brought milk last longer...

Hi, I like the 'green' milk but most of the time have to buy 'blue' or something else. If I know I'm going to be using the milk quickly (due to being a coffee addict!) well I tried watering down the blue stuff - half and half. It works well! and the cost is half too.
