I found out about Transition Towns...
Other
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
encouraging and helping us all to move towards cooperation away from self interest - for the future of us all and the planet
What are you happy to share about yourself:
65 year old lefty feminist and now greeny - feminist economist and academic by trade now semi retired; lucky enough to live in beautiful Paekakariki, New Zealand with partner, dog and cat - but NZ is as bad or worse compared to anywhere on profligate use of the planet and waste (just lower population so doesn't seem as bad)
Where do you live (City or Town):
Paekakariki

Welcome Prue. Glad to have you here. Any chance of a photo (and maybe commenting somewhere here on the global economy and its relationship to oil prices?) And you are welcome to invite those wonderful Paekakariki friends to the network.
