I found out about Transition Towns...: From a friend who told me

In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:: I'm interesting to a redical new apporach to living. Moving away from corporate dependance, towards empowering people to remember they are more than just employees and consumers. I think the monetary system is fundementally flawed and we are witnessing its failure currently. I specialise in sustainable development.

What are you happy to share about yourself:: I have a Tourism Degree from Otago University with a focus on eco-tourism ventures. My current goal is to make an off the grid self-sustainable community. Incorporating seed saving and permaculture workshops. Advanced mag-lev technology for wind turbine energy. Solar panel hotwater systems. Flax weaving and oamaru stone carving workshops etc.

Where do you live (City or Town):: I live in the Papanui/Bishopdale area.
