I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
I like recycling in NZ ... but we can do better. I wish organic food was cheaper ... and dairies would sell more ice cold green tea on hot days ... rather than the fizzy stuff! We need more solar and alternative energies to help reduce carbon emissions .... It would be nice if major home builders made homes with solar panels for hot water and environmentally friendly materials 'standard' with all new homes ... and create a new standard ... instead of using cheaper toxic materials.
