I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
I think its really important that small communities are more resilient. by this I mean that we use and support our local community and businesses and the result is that when we need our community it is still there to service us. in the uk there has been progressive loss of local shops, post offices and service stations cs people just don't spend any moeny there at all then suddenly realise that they are in fact important
