hi Ruth, thanks for emailing. Am a newbie and not been to a meeting yet, will look at attending asap. Till then I'm checking out all the carpool sites to see how they're organised etc. What stands out for me sofar is that there are hardly any Northland users of these sites compared to the rest of NZ. and I'm hoping to discover why. Just heard today that the Union church is moving to the bypass corner to build there. Still a bit puzzled though about the separation of the foodbank/community garden location at the Be Free centre and the TT cafe - is the reason to do with indoor seating space?
