The Christchurch Transition Forum is for everyone in the Canterbury area who is interested in Transition Towns and/or is member of a local initiative. We meet about every two months for a forum where we can network and exchange information in person.

I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Very interested in getting involved, especially for one around Riccarton.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I work part-time at the New Internationalist, doing marketing and outreach. Studying 'full-time' at univeristy, doing geography, sociology and math, focusing on development style papers. I am very interested in social justice, grass-roots intiatives for change and discovering/trying new things :)
I also volunteer for the Trade Aid Education committee and am involved with various theatre and film projects!
