Profile Information

I found out about Transition Towns...
Via an article in a NZ publication, Other
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Self-sufficiency and lowest possible non renewable energy use
What are you happy to share about yourself:
Live in a strawbale house, use rain water (not connected to town supply) with solar heating and grey water reticulation. Vegetarian. Self-sufficient in vegetables grown in six raised garden plots. Love blueberries and grow these in bags as this area is on a lime-pan Slowly converting new section into low cost sustainable space. Coppiced trees used for winter heating.
