I found out about Transition Towns...
From a friend who told me
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Growing local food, sustainable agriculture and permaculture.

Connecting with and building community, harvesting and sharing ideas.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I learned about Transition Towns when I visited New Zealand last year. I was in NZ working on a documentary about sustainable agriculture and saw much of the country and talked with many people on the path of Transition. It was a truly enriching experience. I hope to return someday and I will definitely be sharing the video that was taken.
Where do you live (City or Town):
Boulder, CO, USA

Hi Stephanie, great to hear from you - I gather that from the info above that you are back in Boulder - Dont think the shaved head is a good idea comming into Winter - I did that when I was in London and wore a headscarfe for the next 3 months - I'd be shot as a terrorist if I did it now. This week we have an Ecoshow in Taupo which will be a gathering of TT people from all over the country and then the following week we have Deirdre Kenttalking on Healthy Money, Healthy Planet and David Blume on Alcohol can be a Gas.
Both on theinternet if you are not familiar with them and then an Far North Organic field day on my place where I will be explaiing the organic principles of "Benign Neglect" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will try and attach a chook house picture - still not finished but the chooks seem to like it - 3 new baby chicks this week - 3 raised bed gardens - only one planted - try googling Grant Stevens Organoponico to see pictures of what he is doing with raised bed gdns. Tell me what you and Forest are up to? Cheers, John
