Food Growing.

Questions, answers, discussions on how to grow your own food. What grows where, what does not, when to plant..... We welcome people just getting started and season pro's to get us all growing!

"Hi. We're not ready to exchange yet (only lived here for 2 months!) but this is a wonderful idea for us later down the line. Thanks for thinking of it! :o)"

Home exchange

This is where you look for homes to exchange. Most of us are busy in our gardens and it is so much easier if when you are on holiday if you know that your garden is being watered, the produce is being harvested and the odd weed is coming out.

Profile Information

I found out about Transition Towns...
When I was browsing the net
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
making healthful food for my family, living as self-sufficiently as possible, and learning lots more - we've just begun on this path!
What are you happy to share about yourself:
My husband, toddler and I have recently made a leap of faith, quit the job and moved to an organic lifestyle property. We want to eat healthy, tasty, organic food, earn enough to live happily in a non-conventional way, 'unschool' our child and experience the joy in life :o) While being gentle on our environment.
Where do you live (City or Town):
Waianakarua, North Otago
