Hola Tomas, costs will include travel to and from chile, accommodation here in el manzano (the apple tree) and the gaia university tuition fees for year one and two of a masters programme. I think you can get a return ticket for $2000 and a first year of GU will set you back a mere $US5600 or so depending on your ways and means...but please look at the GU site for exact costs. Gracias, Grifen

Hi there,

I saw your keen interest in Gaia U NZ on the original posts and wonder if you have had a look at the group lately - there is an initiative to get a program for NZ going by inviting NZ folks to an Orientation in Chile! See "one step towards Oceania".

Pip, pip and all the best

Gidday Tomas,
I fully agree that mobilising world changers is paramount. I am sure you have the right shoes to play a role in some way...I am sure we can do it. The idea with a ROG for me is to share the initial workload collaboratively.
Yes me and Javiera are in the process of attainaing GU degrees as we develop a centre in Chile. We have a couple of others in NZ in the same boat willing to be part of a ROG...Im hoping to attract one or two more to Chile in April to attend our first orientation. My intention is to be in a position to work full time on GU in NZ with the required capital to support my efforts...this is coming. I am fully committed to generating sufficient income in strategic and regenerative enterprise...and we live cheap. However if you were to offer me a job that fits with my passion...
As for models and projections, we are working with the Permaculture Research Institute and GU to develop the international concept and models for supporting centres in their first three years on the road to self funding.
We are on the leading edge of this in chile and developing a prototype that can be quickly replicated with sufficient international and local support. We have projected the numbers and are very confident that we can be self reliant in three years with minimal capital up front.
I hope you find the shoes man!
Keep me posted, merry chrissy and new year from CHile,
Grifen and Family.

Thanks Tomas good to see you on here too. There was someone asking about worm farms in the work place I was thinking Bukashi would be a much better idea, if you find the conversation you should make a comment.

Hi Thomas, It's great to see you here! Let me know if I can help you with your photo... cropping, sizing, adjusting contrast, fitting it to the site, etc. Then when I've returned it to you, you can post it to the site at Profile Photo. Photos become very important as our group grows.
