In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Helping our youth to change their attitudes towards life, letting them know its alright, we will awhi you.Help them build confidence before going on to work, supporting our elderly with more iwi based home help.. like getting to appointments, shopping, house and gardens, companionship, and also the disadvantaged.
What are you happy to share about yourself:
I am a mother of 3, am a care assistant, but off work to support my elderly parents, and my son has epilepsy at the age of 24, he has had it since he was 19,and finds it hard to cope, have finally got himself off the couch and is doing a forestry course with our runanga
