I found out about Transition Towns...
Via an article in an overseas publication
In the context of Transition Towns my interests / passions are:
Permaculture, ecovillages, community building, education (children and adults), food production, natural building, natural parenting
What are you happy to share about yourself:
FOr along time now, I have been following (chasing?) my dream of living in a resilient, nurturing, productive (intentional) community. While this dream has not come true yet, I am intensely greatful for all the enriching experiences I am having on this journey.
My husband Florian and our two little girls are actively working towards a lighter life on this earht. Currently, we are putting a lot of energy into TT Whanganui, and into getting our bikes up to scrath so we can sell our car later this month.

I am a Landscape Manager, Permaculturist, La Leche League Leader and passionate gardener.
Where do you live (City or Town):
whanganui

Hi Tanja, nice to see you on this site. I'm very keen to have a catch up with yourself and Florian some time soon to see how you are all getting on, how are the kids and to compare notes about developments in our TT groups. I'm running a four week parenting course tomorrow evening and then running a weekend workshop down in Sharda, sth auckland. We had a great turnout for our last event in Whangarei, there were about 90 people there and every enthusiasm and participation from everyone there. It was all very promising.

Big hug, lots of love, Genevieve
