Tena koutou, nga mihi o Matariki
I am looking for opportunities to share my skills and knowledge with as many people as may be in need, beginning in this time of Matariki when we look to the stars for guidance on the design of of our future.
For many years I have worked with individuals and groups to help people to come into balance with all that is, to recognise their powers and potentials (same thing!), and to step into them to create work, relationship and spiritual connection that nurture them, their whanau, and their kainga.
I have done this through community work, teaching, counselling, career consultancy and through my workshops and healing practices which help people to access the wisdom of those who have gone before us for the sake of those who will come after us.
Currently I earn a small living as a career counsellor, contracting to a global HR Services organisation. This subsidises my work of facilitating circles and working with a Circle of Kuia who are actively remembering and dreaming the world we want our children's children to inherit.
I have reached the stage in my life when I no longer want to charge a fee, but, instead, to invite a reciprocal exchange (which may still take the form of money, since this form of exchange remains, for the moment, the primary one in our society.) - for any part of my work - whether it is helping young people (or any people!) on their career decisions, on finding jobs, on the rites of passage for our life journey, on coming into relationship with the web of life of which we are a part....
Both the Dreaming work and the Practical work can help people to use their power to transform their world now and in the time that is coming. The time is now!
